Quick Lane Tire & Auto Display

23 club Mustangs, 2 club Ford trucks, several guests and 40 members braved the skies to come out for the Open House Display at Quick Lane, a division of Pundmann Motor Co. The weather cooperated & we had a great showing in conjunction with JJ's monthly cruise nite. Fords Unlimited came out and joined with us to make a very impressive display. Thanks also to the members that came by & hung out even though their Mustangs couldn't attend. Kids (big & small) brought out their RC Mustangs for a few quick laps. Karen's brother, Kevin, had a costly night after showing the speed of his gas powered buggy & a couple of crashes. But the kids (big & small) loved it.

Pundmann Ford had several new model vehicles on display to check out along with the 2008 Shelby GT500KR. I heard a few people trying to figure out how to buy that one! It was crowd favorites to see Steve Dennis' 1969 Mustang as it was bought new at Pundmann & he brought along some original paperwork. Also, Jack Griewe from Fords Unlimited's 1968 Galaxie that was sold new as a demo from Pundmann. What great history!

Thanks to Jerry Grimmer and Brian Counts for staying with Mitch & I to help in clean up & putting things away. The Show-Me Mustang Club was founded in 1986 by a group of Mustang enthusiasts to provide a medium for the exchange of ideas and information about the care and maintenance of America’s first pony car.
